Jamie Kay Lackey

Mrs. Jamie Kay Watkins Lackey, age 36 of Kennedy, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026 at her residence. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Boone Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home. 

She was preceded in death by her son: Allen Ray Watkins, father: Larry David Watkins, brother: John D. Watkins, grandparents: Fred Jay and Myrtle Lee Watkins, and John William and Elva Kay Oettle. 

Survivors include her husband: Gage Lackey, son: Gunner Lee Lackey, mother: Julie Oettle Watkins, daughter: Ray Leigh Lackey, brother: Daniel J. Watkins, sister: Amie Lynette Watkins, and mother-in-law: Teresa Lackey.
