James "Rudy" Hubbert

Mr. James "Rudy" Hubbert, age 66 of Hubbertville, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, March 14, 2021 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hubbertville Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents: T.D. and Irene "Jackie" Hubbert.

Survivors include his wife: Deborah Hubbert of Hubbertville, sons: Jamie Hubbert (Dolly) of Guin, Terry Hubbert (Lisa) of Glen Allen, brothers: Tom Hubbert (Doris), and Robert Hubbert both of Hubbertville, sister: Karla Groves (Lou) of Montgomery, grandchildren: Kristen Hubbert, Kaitlyn Bates, and Zach Hubbert.

Rudy operated heavy equipment for Fayette County and for different strip pits.

Pallbearers will be: Jacky Haley, Michael Haley, Mitchell Haley, Lance Whitehead, Keith Bailey, and Jimmy Swafford.
