James Ronald McCaleb

Mr. James Ronald McCaleb, age 82 of Bankston, passed away January 28, 2026.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 30, 2026 at 11-A.M. from Fayette Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Cleveland Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7 P.M. at Fayette Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Alton and Agnes Coye Deavours McCaleb, brothers: Bill, J.P., and Gary McCaleb, sisters: Lagatha Cabaniss, Dewilta Glasgow, and Teresa Calhoun, and son-in-law: Michael Kearney.

Survivors include his wife: Sandra McCaleb, son: Brent McCaleb (Jen), daughters: Pamela Boyd (Jeff) and Kelly Kearney, sister: Charlotte Gallups, and 6 grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers are: James Smith, MSW, Dr. Fred Yerby, Dr. Grant Strong, Dr. Lanier O’Hare,  Harold Diggers, and Scotty Aldridge.

Active pallbearers will be: Chuck Ellenburg, David Wheat, Eddy Campbell, Landon Aldridge, Owen Sweatt.
