James Kimbrell Obituary
Mr. James Melvin Kimbrell, age 92 of Berry, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Fayette Long Term Care.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 11-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
Survivors include one son; James Ronald Kimbrell (Rita), one daughter; Jackie Banks (Bruce), two brothers; Bobby Kimbrell (Judy), and Carmel Lynn Kimbrell, one sister; Martha Mavis Files (John Henry), nine grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Andrew and Della Kimbrell, wife; Frances Gray Kimbrell, brothers; Arnold Kimbrell, Orville Kimbrell, Calvin Kimbrell, sisters; Lila Downey, Joyce Kajula, daughter; Melba Johnson, and a great-grandson; Dameon Johnston.
James was a kind and loving man and always put his family first.
Pallbearers will be; Timothy Banks, Devin Johnson, David Johnston, Kevin Lawrence, Michael Epperson, and Michael Johnston.
