James Perry Kelley

Mr. James Perry Kelley, age 97 of Fayette, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 12-Noon from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Macedonia (Gumbud) Cemetery. Dr. Dale Mitchell, Harold Kelley and Billy Joe Owens will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10- 12 P.M. at the funeral home.

Survivors include one son: Jim Kelley (Nancy) of Northport, one daughter: Cindy Duckworth of Fayette, one brother: Harold Kelley of Bessemer, one sister: Gladys Maddox of Winfield, 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Peggy Harkins Kelley, grandson: Justin Kelley, parents: Jack and Annie Bell Hudson Kelley, brothers: Edward Kelley, Earnest Kelley, Jackie Kelley, and sisters: Imogene Carroll, Martha Stripling, and Mogene Stamps.

Pallbearers will be: Chad Kelley, Todd Kelley, Josh Elliott, Bradley Duckworth, Brooks Duckworth, Brodie Duckworth, Ralph Carroll, and Randall Carroll.
