James Elliott

Mr. James Elliott, age 78 of Millport, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at the Care Center of Vernon.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Palmetto. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Johnnie F. and Sammie Lee McDaniels Elliott, and a brother: Leonard Elliott.

Survivors include his wife: Gearldine Elliott of Millport, son: Dennis Elliott (Rena) of Winfield, two daughters: Audrey Price (Randy) of Bankston, and Linda Cantrell (Randall) of Winfield, two brothers: Daniel Elliott (Joy) of Vernon, and Jerry Wayne Elliott (Linda) of Fayette, two sisters: Sherry Yerby of Vernon, and Sandra Cunningham (David) of Vernon, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
