Herbert Woodard Obituary
Mr. Herbert Woodard, age 54 of Fayette, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Northwest Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 4-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery. Bro. John Foles will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3-4 P.M. at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife: Kelli Woodard of Fayette, son: Nolan Woodard of Fayette, daughter: Lindsey Woodard (Jason Colley) of Athens, GA, father: John Woodard and stepmother Gerri Woodard of Eldridge, and brother: Jonathan Woodard (Diana) of Eldridge.
Honorary pallbearers will be: 2006-2007 Jr. High girls basketball team ( the Dream team ) and all past and present Sumiton Christian faculty and students.
Pallbearers will be: Steve Chambers,Jimmy Dunn,Lance Blair,Bill Griffin,Johnny McPhaul and Jeff Nix.
