Henry Douglas Gray

Mr. Henry Douglas Gray, age 77 of Fayette, passed away Monday, August 26, 2024 at DCH Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Lauderdale County, AL, and was a resident of Fayette Medical Center Long Term Care.

He is survived by his daughters: Gayle Jones (Stephen), Ginger Parker and Brandy Fowler, son: Aaron Gray, grandson: Nathan Gartman (Beth), granddaughter: Wendy Bagwell, great-granddaughter: Navy Brooke Gartman, sisters: Gaynell Sandlin, Oma Overton, Dean Lentz, Myra Patrick, Mary Ann Gray, Rosa Davis and Jane Moore, brothers: WN Gray and Jimmy Gray, 27 nieces and nephews, and a host of great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: William Nathan Gray and Hazel Gladney Gray, brothers: Melvin and Ray Gray, sister: Jean Simpson, and grandson: Blake Bagwell.

He had chosen cremation.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 11-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel.
