Gary Lee Thornton

Mr. Gary Thornton, age 68 of Fayette, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the Fayette Medical Center.

Per his wishes there will not be a service.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Joel Mabry Thornton and Julia Eva Pearson Thornton, brother: Joel Thornton, sisters: Martha Neff, Mary Weeks, and Judith Kaye Thornton.

Survivors include his wife: Donna Sue Hollingsworth Thornton, son: Jason Wayne Thornton, daughter: Angela Valerie Thornton Cellitti, twin brother: Larry Dean Thornton, and six grandchildren: Randall Fulton, Zander Andrasko, Amelia Thornton, Brennan Thornton, River Thornton, and Charlee Thornton.

Mr. Thornton served in the U.S. Army, National Guard and worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Fayette.
