Garry Lynn Thornton

Mr. Garry Thornton, age 70 of Berry, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pea Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Ulyses Grant Thornton, Sr. and Genilla Thornton, and a nephew: Ulyses Grant Thornton III.

Survivors include his wife: Mary S. Thornton of Berry, son: Jason Fowler (Jennifer) of Bankston, daughters: Misty Fowler of Berry, and Kristy Haley (Mike) of Fayette, brother: Grant Thornton of Fayette, four grandchildren: Kayla White (Brandon), Bradley Sprinkle (Brandi), Mason Fowler and Tyson Fowler, three great-grandchildren: Layton Henderson, Adelyn White, and Sophia Sprinkle. 

Honorary pallbearers are: Bradley Sprinkle, Michael Haley, Jason Fowler, and Misty Fowler.

Active pallbearers will be: Brandon White, Tyson Fowler, Mason Fowler, Zack Traweek, and Mark Burkett.
