Gara Nell Stewart

Mrs. Gara Nell Stewart, age 80 of Bankston, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Fayette Long Term Care.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 11-A.M. from Cleveland Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Josh Taylor will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10-11 A.M. at the church.

Survivors include two daughters: Deborah Hynds (Mike) of Winfield and Teresa Taylor (David) of Fayette, five grandchildren: Jessica Archer (Jeremy), Caleb Hynds (Brooke), Breanna Dean (Caleb), Josh Taylor (Alli), Justin Taylor (Cheyeanne), and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Jessie Stewart, parents: Edward Banks Ellis and Elizabeth Halbrook Ellis, brothers: Edward Lee Ellis and Jimmy Ellis, sisters: Margaret Moore and Voncille Moore.

Pallbearers will be: Caleb Hynds, Josh Taylor, Justin Taylor, Mike Hynds, David Taylor, Caleb Dean, and Jeremy Archer.
