Evelyn McCaleb

Mrs. Evelyn McCaleb, age 89 of Fayette, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023 at Fayette Long Term Care.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 2-P.M. from Macedonia Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state Wednesday from 1-2 P.M. at the church. Dr. Dale Mitchell will officiate.

Survivors include her son: Tommy "Toby" McCaleb (Tammy) of Fayette, and sister: Shirley Logan of Fayette.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Albert Lee McCaleb,  son: Eddie "Moe" McCaleb, and parents: John Henry Benton and Earline Thompson Benton.
