Edgar Miller

Mr. Edgar Miller, age 81 of Fayette, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Fayette Long Term Care. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Fayette City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home. 

He was preceded in death by his parents: Tollie Lee and Nora Pendley Miller, siblings: Ruby Smith, Larry T. Miller, Lillie Mae Passaro, Merle Cargile, Dalton Miller, Darold Miller, Glenn Miller, Kenneth Miller, and Don Miller. 

Survivors include two sons: Arnold Miller of Tuscaloosa, and Alan Miller of Fayette, sister: Faye Bauer (Norm) of Fayette, brothers: Wright Miller (Loretta) of Fayette, Dwight Miller (Jane) of TN, and one granddaughter: Kaleigh Miller. 

Honorary pallbearers are: Fayette Long Term Care employees, Fayette Medical Home Health, and Hospice of Northwest Alabama (Winfield) Office. 

Active pallbearers will be: Cedric Wilson, Scott Porter, Walter Brister, Drew Gordon, Jeff Mordecai, and Mark Allison.
