Ernest Ray Jordan

    Mr. Ernest Ray Jordan was born February 8, 1935 and passed away April 9, 2022.
    He was preceded in death by his father: Ernest G. Jordan, his mother: Pearl S. Lyons, his sister: Maylene England, and his daughter: Sandra Denise Jordan.
    Survivors include his wife: Martha Jordan, brother: John (Irma) Jordan, sister: Gene Smith, sons: David (Jo Anne) Jordan and Greg (Glenda) Jordan, daughter: Melanie Jackson, grandchildren: Eric (Jessica) Shirley, Amanda (Robbie) Pate, Billy (Rachael) Jordan, Rachael (Chris) Bell, great-grandchildren: Kameron Lawson, Madilyn Shirley, Evan Shirley, Jack Pate, Sam Pate, Layla Jordan, John Jordan, and Hannah Bell.
    Mr. Jordan married the love of his life, Martha, for 68 years. He enjoyed his retirement so he could become close to family and friends again in the Hubbertville Community.
    He obeyed the Gospel and put on Christ in baptism and remained faithful to Christ for 64 years.
    He loved his family with a deep compassion.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 3-P.M. from Hubbertville Church of Christ. Burial will follow in New River Church of Christ Cemetery. Clark Sims will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-3 P.M. at the church.
    Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Hubbertville and New Rive Church of Christ.
    Active pallbearers will be: David Hubbert, Eric Shirley, Billy Jordan, Chris Bell, Robbie Pate, and Evan Shirley.
