Dustin Kent Skelton

Dustin Kent Skelton, age 37 of Fayette, passed away November 7, 2025 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 3-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Hopewell-Rosehill Cemetery.

Randall Trimm will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-3 P.M. at the funeral home.

Survivors include his parents: Kent and Patty Skelton, brothers: Cody Skelton (Shaelia) and Jordan Skelton (Faith), grandmother: Deloras Wakefield, nephews: Jacob Braylon, Tucker, Skyler, Braxton Skelton, nieces: Chloe and Isabella Skelton, and Allie Nuckols.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Willard and Inez Skelton, Jimmy Trimm, great-grandparents: Henry and Lois Lowery, Walter and Delphia Trimm.

Dustin loved going outsid and playing and digging in the dirt, and fixing holes in the ground. He loved John Deere toys. He also loved his family.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Amedysis Hospice of Hamilton, West Alabama Aging and staff, Dr. Lucas Taravaien, and Fayette County Class of 2007.

Active pallbearers will be: Charlie Trimm, Willis McGuff, Buddy Ballinger, Cody Skelton, Jordan Skelton, Cern Tpanopai, and Thomas Trimm.
