Doyle Pendley

Mr. Doyle Pendley, age 86 of Berry, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 11-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pendley Chapel Cemetery in Berry. Sis. Amy Lowery will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10-11 A.M. at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife: Murl Frances Johnston Pendley of Berry, step-son: Larry Earnest (Connie) of Jasper, step-daughter: Don Reita Nelson (Robert Michael) of Berry, 6 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son: Keith Pendley, sister: Barbara Bolton, and parents: Vertus and Alma Pendley.He attended Pendley's Chapel Church of God.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Hospice of West Alabama, and Doctors and Nurses of DaVita in Fayette, AL.

Active pallbearers will be: Robert Nelson, Brad Hitt, Clay Hitt, Lynn Johnston, Carl Taylor, and Joe Perkins.
