Doris A. Selman

Mrs. Doris Selman, age 81 of Bankston, Alabama, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025 at home.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 29, 2025 at 3-P.M. from New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church, Bankston, Alabama. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3 P.M. at the church. Brother Adam Smith will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James C. Selman; parents: Jesse and Dullie Rainey;  and sister: Catherine Gilliam.
Survivors include her daughters: Deborah Webb (Patrick) and Donna Benefield (Donny), son David Selman (Shana), grandchildren: Holly Parson (Kris), Nicholas Selman (Tanner), Lillianna Selman, and Andrea Roberts (Daniel), great grandchildren: Olleigha Parson, Talley and Tylyn Selman, and Hadleigh Roberts, brothers: Curt Rainey and Woemack Rainey.
Mrs. Selman was a member of New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church. She worked in the sewing industry for most of her life and cherished the friendships she made with her many co-workers over the years. She loved sewing, assembling jig saw puzzles, and spending time with her family.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas Selman, Kris Parson, Vick Selman, Ray Selman, Randy Rainey, and Greg Rainey.
