Donald V. Shelton

Mr. Donald Shelton, age 86 of Northport, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Park Manor Health and Rehab. 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 12-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Ashcraft Corner Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11-A.M. till 12-P. M. at the funeral home. 

He was preceded in death by his wife: Anita Jean Shelton, parents: Velton and Annie Jones Shelton, brother: Dan Shelton, and a niece: Camille Jones. 

Survivors include his daughter: Rosemary McGregor (Preston) of TX, grandson: Blake McGregor (Danielle) of TX, great-grandsons: Everette and Elliot McGregor of TX, brother: Jerry Shelton of Berry, nieces: Rhonda Cheryl Shelton of Fayette County, Melissa Shelton Davis (Shane) of Pickens County, and a great nephew: Baylor Davis of Pickens County.  

Pallbearers will be: Blake McGregor, Shane Davis, Karl Smith, Joe Howell, Ken Jordan, Andy Oswalt, and Charles Robinson.
