Derrick Shawn Tucker

Mr. Derrick Tucker, age 41 of Bankston, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 at his residence.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 11-A.M. from Tucker Cemetery.

Derrick was the son of Steve and Wendy Tucker, brother to Angel Burkett (Shea), and uncle of Codie Burkett.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Fred and Mary Tucker, and JD Corkerin and Eleanor Kittle.

Derrick was an active member of Davis Chapel Church of Christ and a 1997 graduate of Hubbertville High School. Derrick was the most caring and loving soul who never met a stranger and was always willing to help and always had your back. He loved God, his church, his family, and all his many friends. Derrick also loved to hunt, fish, and travel the woods with his ole pal Rusty and his mom Wendy. Derrick loved working with his dad on land projects, building ponds, hauling gravel, and whatever needed to be done he was there. Derrick will surely be missed but will be in our hearts and soul forever. We love you very much and know God has a new angel watching over us.

Pallbearers will be: Jerry McCluskey, Donny Nichols, Jim Stoker, Zack Barbee, Shea Burkett, and William Corkerin.
