Denny Hocutt

Mr. Denny Hocutt, age 62 of Fayette, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at his residence.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 6-8 P.M. at Nelson Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife: Angela "Angie" Hocutt, children: Jeremy Carl D. Hocutt (Nicole Darty), Misty Dawn Hocutt (Jake Brown), Byron Hocutt (Abby Ruth Lancaster), Blake Acker (Amber Acker), sister: Millie Hocutt Wise, grandchildren: Emerald Hocutt (Tyler Johnson), Diamond Hocutt, Dixie Moye, Ethan Brown, Daisy Brown, Kaydance Brown, Hayden Brown, Emma Anderson, Easton Acker, Brett Courington (Kassandra and Baby Lance), Briar Odom, Braxton Odom, Samantha Darty (Baby Jon Michael), Ella Darty, great-granddaughter: Katherine Aaliyah Hocutt, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father: Bernard C. "B.C." Hocutt, mother: Lucille Locke Hocutt, brothers: Byron Hocutt and Lester Traweek, and brother-in-law: Joe Wise.

Denny attended Fayette County High School, and finished at Hubbertville Hight School. From school, he went into the Alabama National Guard, and worked in Fayette.
