Dennis Lane Moore

Mr. Dennis Lane Moore, age 53 of Vernon, passed away January 2, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.

A Celebration of Life will be held January 11, 2025 at 10-A.M. from Springfield First Freewill Baptist Church in Vernon. Joe Mosely and Gary Seay will officiate.

He is survived by his wife: Stefanie Kimbrough Moore of Vernon, daughter: Ashtan Moore of Bessemer, son: Cody Weston of Vernon, brothers: Ricky Moore (Shirley) and Larry Moore (Gwen), both of Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his parents: J.A. and Wilma Moore, father and mother -in-law: Larry and Linda Kimbrough.

Dennis Lane Moore was born October 13, 1971 to James and Wilma Moore. He married his love Stefani on April 7, 2014. He had a beautiful daughter Ashtan, and a son Cody. Cody was a step-son, but not to Dennis, he was his son. Dennis loved his  family and friends, and would do anything to help you. He worked hard all his life. Friends say he always had a smile on his face. Just don't tell him he can't do it, he will try to prove you wrong. Stefani said he was a gentle soul, but had a little fire cracker in him.He was a 1990 graduate of LCHS. He loved football-Alabama Football, and his 7 fur babies. He will truly be missed.
