Deborah Selman

Mrs. Deborah Selman, age 71 of Bankston, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at DCH Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 16, 2024 at 11-A.M. from New Liberty Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 10-11 A.M. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Bro. Adam Smith and Bro. Rod Ward will officiate.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Vick Selman, son: Michael Selman (Jennifer), daughter: Vicki Crawford (Frankie), sister: Judy Easter (Claudie), 3 grandchildren: Hannah Selman, Clay Selman and Bryanna Kimbrell, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: J.T. and Mildred Sanford, brothers: Jerry Sanford, Johnny Wayne Sanford and Edward Farrell, and sister: Regina "Tina" Lowery.

Honorary pallbearers will be: all members of the Bankston-Stough VFD.

Active pallbearers will be: David Selman, Josh Bonner, Josh Smith, Phillip Freeman, Brian Davidson, and Matthew Rushing.
