David Whitson Obituary
Mr. David Whitson, age 70 of Bankston, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife: Jo Ann Whitson of Bankston, one son: Scott Whitson of Berry, three daughters: Angie Whitson of Berry, Tracey Whitson of Fayette, and Kelly McDonald of Nauvoo, one brother: Milford Whitson of Bankston, three sisters: Patricia Milligan of Berry, Wanda Brown of Fayette, and Rose Cope of LA, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death byhis parents: Bradley Whitson and Clara Mae Aldridge Whitson.
Honorary pallbearers are Austin Whitson and Hunter McDonald.
Active pallbearers will be: Tyler Whitson, Allen Sanford, Andy Sanford, and Jerrod McDonald.
