David Fowler

Mr. David Fowler, age 86 of Fayette, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 29, 2024 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Fayette Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Shannon and Avis Lee Johnston Fowler, brothers: Sam, William, James, and Charles Fowler, and a sister: Ruth Lindsey.

Survivors include his wife: Genine Cook Fowler of Fayette, son: Carlton Fowler (Patty) of Fayette, one grandchild: Jamie Fowler, step-grandchildren: Kristi Crabtree, Greg Chaffin (Julie), Brandon Foster (Shari), Kristen Moore (Tyler), Brittney Shelton, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Fowler's Sunday School Class at Belk Free Will Baptist Church.

Active pallbearers are: Don Byars, John Aaron, Rodger Aaron, Paul Fowler, Dale Bozeman, and Dewayne Roby.
