Condra Perkins Worrell

Mrs. Condra Perkins Worrell, age 77 of Fayette, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026 at Fayette Long Term Care.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 12-Noon from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Fayette Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11-12 P.M. at the funeral home. Randy Harris will officiate.

Condra was born in Fayette, and graduated from Fayette County High School. She attended the University of North Alabama for a short time. While in high school she played softball, and was in the choir and band. After school the passion for performing and softball didn't end. She sang and acted in several shows and church, and most of all performing in Dogwood Productions, for well over a decade. Once that concluded, , she and her husband were extemely active in the Band Foundation helping with every event that her body would allow. Up until a few years ago, she was always in all the cantata's in the area. Conda was a special person to a lot of people. She always strove to do her best in everything she did, and will truly be missed.

Survivors include her son: Nicholas Worrell (Christy) of Fayette, daughter: Amanda Leah Worrell Hattaway (Drew) of Fayette, seven grandchildren: Zane Hattaway, Leah Hattaway Woods (Daylon), Riley Worrell, Daniel Worrell, Nathan Pasley, Noah Pasley, and Samuel Pasley.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Napolean "Sonny" Worrell, infant daughter: Emily Nicole Worrell, mother: Winifred Perkins, father: Maburn Perkins, and brothers: Dean Perkins and Joe Perkins.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Zane Hattaway and Michael Perkins.

Active pallbearers will be: Riley Worrell, Nathan Pasley, Kjell Henegar, Patrick McCool, Ned Nichols, and Scott Porter.
