Clara Faye Maples

Mrs. Clara Faye Maples, age 86 of Townley, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 9, 2025 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Studdards Crossroads Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home. John Cooner will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Frank Maples, son: Tommy Maples, grandsons: Zach Cooner amnd Buddy Maples, and her parents: Homer and Velma Hamilton.

Survivors include her daughters: Sandra Earnest of Fayette, and Susan Cooner (John) of Townley, sister: Gladys Burkett (LB) of Fayette, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be: Keith Garrett, Allen Franks, Adam Cooner, Bubba Garrett, and Bobby Smith.
