Christopher Corbett Obituary

Christopher Lee "Chris" Corbett, 57, of Fayette, AL, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph "Joe" Corbett.

Survivors include his wife: Jennifer Kay Corbett of Fayette, his children, Brittney Corbett Johnson (Ben), Wil Corbett (Tiffany), Ty Corbett; mother, Linda Wilson Corbett; brothers, Barry Corbett (Kim), Lane Corbett (Jamie); sister, Susan Corbett Saliba (Richard); seven grandchildren, Ava Johnson, Vera Johnson, Isaac Johnson, Zeke Johnson, Wilson Corbett, Titus Corbett, Elaine Corbett; nieces/nephews, Nick Corbett, Dylan Corbett, Joe Saliba and Ella Saliba.

Chris was born on June 2, 1964 in Birmingham, Alabama. He attended Fayette County High School. He retired from Phifer Wire in Tuscaloosa, AL. He was also a retired veteran from the Army National Guard. He did two tours of duty, one in Iraq and one in Afghanistan.

Chris was a beloved son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be so greatly missed.

He will have a private graveside service.
