Christine Shepard Grizzell, 91, passed away peacefully in FMCLTC on December 3, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on December 24, 1933, Christine was a Christmas Eve gift whose warmth, compassion, and spirit enriched the lives of all who knew her.

Before her health issues worsened, Christine was a faithful member of Fayette First Baptist Church, where she lived out her faith among lifelong friends.

In recent years, she enjoyed socializing with her close-knit group of friends at LTC known fondly as The Clique. She loved reading, working puzzles, playing bingo, and cheering on Alabama football. Above all, she cherished time with her family—cooking her famous chicken dressing, searching for treasures at yard sales, sharing laughter around a spirited game of Rook, and cuddling babies, which brought her joy.

Christine leaves behind a legacy of love, and devotion. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
