Christina Benette Collins

Ms. Christina Collins, age 60 of Fayette, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025 at her residence. 

Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Macedonia-Gumbud Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home. 

She was preceded in death by her mother: Jerri Harbin Rushing, and sister: Dayna Collins Bagwell. 

Survivors include her father: Thomas F. Collins of Fayette,  Lou Collins, son: Benjamin Collins of Fayette, brothers: Thomas F. Collins, Jr. "Chip", and Russell Collins both of Fayette, sisters: Kimberly Rushing of FL, Deidre Collins of Fayette, and Amy Pierson of CA. 

Christina attended Fayette County High School graduating in 1983, she was head cheerleader. She worked in Fayette and later became a stay at home mom.
