Chad Burkett

Mr. Chad Burkett, age 44 of Carbon Hill, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 1-P.M. from Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Bro. Lynell Early will officiate.

He was preceded in death by his father: Kenny Burkett, grandparents: Rev. HL and Lucy Campbell Burkett, grandfather: Bobby Tucker, great-grandparents: Felix and Belva Stovall, cousins: Amanda and Sydney Lanier and Casey Reece.

Survivors include his mother: Denise Burkett, grandmother: Bernice Tucker, two aunts: Debbie Wideman (Jerald), and Dianne Reece (Donnie).

Chad loved the outdoors. He grew the most beautiful flowers. He spent hours with them. Chad loved to make things out of wood, and would take apart things other people threw away and get them working. He loved his family dearly. Chad didn't leave the house many times except for doctor visits. He missed his dad, they were pals. Chad has been very sickly with his leg and back the last two years but he never gave up trying to do things.

Pallbearers will be: Chris German, Nick Estes, Justin Webster, Josh Garner, and Clay Boles.
