Carolyn Ann Corbin

Mrs. Carolyn Corbin, age 69 of Bankston, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at her residence. 

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Cleveland Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home. Bro Rod Ward will officiate. 

She was preceded in death by her husband: Roy Corbin, parents: Silas "Kooter" Swindle and Clera Swindle, son: Jimmy Brashier, brothers: Billy Ray Swindle, Larry Wayne Swindle, Jerry C. Swindle, Bobby Joe Swindle, and son-in-law: Johnny Ellis. 

Survivors include two sons: Mark Corbin, and Steven Corbin (Elsie), daughter: Teresa Kenney (Mike), daughter-in-love: Lisa Blackwell (Chris), brother: Silas Swindle, sisters: Nira Sue Harrelson, Betty Hallman (Jerry), sister-in-law: Dana Swindle, twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. 

Honorary pallbearers are Carolyn's caregivers: Ashton Dykes, Tiffany Brown, Carly Simmons, Lilyann Brashier, Jimmy Brashier II, Elsie Corbin, Lisa Blackwell, and Deborah Rhodes.

Active pallbearers will be: Jacob Brashier, Jimmy Brashier II, Brandon Ellis, Austin Ellis, Isaac Ellis, and Luke Corbin.
