Calvin Eugene Wooten

Mr. Calvin Eugene Wooten, age 73 of Fayette, passed away January 22, 2025 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in El Bethel Cemetery. Bro. David Wilson and Bro Jarrett Lovelace will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his father: Opal Wooten, mother: Levinia Cunningham, step-father: Ferance Cunningham, step mother Pauline James and brother: Cecil Wooten.

Survivors include his sons: Gene Wooten and Ray Wooten (Kristi) , both of Fayette, daughter: Loretta Key{Scott} of Kennedy, brother: Kenneth Wooten of Kennedy, sisters: Francis Ingram of Fayette, Janice Gilliam of Gordo, Sheila Vest (Tommy) of Centerville, TN, Virginia Goolsby of Reform, Angie Barks (John) of Fayette, and 4 grandchildren: Renee Guyton (Garrett), Brayden Wooten (Anna), Kaylyn Wooten, and Hannah Wooten.

Pallbearers will be: Ray Wooten, Gene Wooten, Tommy Vest, Garrett Guyton, Brayden Wooten, and Kristi Wooten.
