Brooks Rushing

Mr. Brooks Rushing, age 92 of Fayette, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Morningview Estates.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 11-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10-11 A.M. at the funeral home. Bro. Raymond Spann will officiate.

He was preceded in death by his parents: William and Maggie Hannon Rushing, wife: Mary Lynn Rushing, and a grandson: Adam Rushing.

Survivors include one daughter: Becky Henry (Rusty) of Fayette, three sons: Phillip Rushing (Linda), Stanley Rushing (Christon), and Scott Rushing (Lisa) all of Fayette, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers are: Employees of Morningview Estates, James Crowley, Max Crowley, and Wayne Gilreath.

Active pallbearers will be: Matthew Rushing, Luke Rushing, Will Rushing, Kason Rushing, Randy Phillips, Bryan Thacker, Brett Thacker, Jared Taylor, and Wayne Nichols.
