Obituary
Mr. Billy Dean Harkins, age 89 of Moody, formerly of Fayette went to his heavenly home Thursday, August 3, 2023.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 12-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Fayette Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11-A.M. til 12-P.M. at the funeral home. Bro. Jerrett Lovelace, and Bro. Rickey Bradford will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Jesse Nell Harkins, parents, Martin Cager and Rosa Lee Harkins, 9 brothers and sisters to which he was the baby.
He is survived by his son, Dwight Dean Harkins (Debra) of Harvest, AL, daughter, Tammie Thomas (Alan) of Moody, AL, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and five great-great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
