Billy Ray Anderson

Mr. Billy Ray Anderson, age 73 of Fayette, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 3-P.M. from Miracles of Faith Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-3 P.M. at the church.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Cecil and Frances Anderson, brothers: W.C. Anderson and James Harry Anderson, grandparents: Vester and Florence Anderson, and Ben and Cora Wright.

Survivors include his wife: Judith "Judy" Ann Strickland Anderson, son: Darren Scott Anderson, daughters: Tracy Lynette Anderson Rye, Amber Marie Anderson, brother: Ricky Anderson (Karen), sisters: Bernice Gilliam (Wayne), Ann Fowler, Eunice T. Brock, Brenda Bobo (Kenneth), and Virginia Byars (Steve), four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers are: Dr. Martha Jo Christian and staff, Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center, Dr. James Evans and The Fayette Oncology Department and staff.

Pallbearers will be: Scott Anderson, Cody Anderson, Austin Rye,Jemeric Anderson, Michael Simmons, and Steve Rye.
