Betty L. Fields

Mrs. Betty Fields, age 78 of Fayette, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Fayette Long Term Care.

Mrs. Fields was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and sharing with friends. She had so many precious friends and was loved deeply and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 3-P.M. from Hopewell Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state Saturday from 1-3 P.M. at the church. Bro. Terry Joe Oswalt and Bro. Randy Howard will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Phillip Fields, mother; Eunice Vick, father; ,Norton Hocutt, and step-father; Edward Vick.

Survivors include two sons: Thomas Fields (Cindy) of Fayette, Tim Fields (Delisa) of Bankston, two daughters: Anita Moring (Chris) of Bankston, and Ann Rice (Jeff) of Northport, two sisters; Barbara Roberts (Larry), and Linda Hocutt both of Fayette, five grandchildren: Justin Fields (Ashley), Josh Fields (Hilary), Jason Rice, Kayla Kimbrell (Seth), Kendall Towl (Dylan), and four great-grandchildren: Anna Grace Kimbrell, Brylee Towl, Tyler Kimbrell, and Noah Fields.
    

Honorary pallbearers are: neighbors and friends of Hopewell Baptist Church and community, special friends Loyal Watson and Helen Brown, nurses, caregivers, and doctors at Fayette Long Term Care.
  

 Active pallbearers will be: Justin Fields, Josh Fields, Jason Rice, Jeff Rice, Seth Kimbrell, Dylan Towl, and Chris Moring.
