Barbara Ann Whitley

Barbara Ann Whitley, age 80 of Fayette, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 at her residence.

There will be a private service for Miss Whitley.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Clem and Ora Whitley, brothers: Cleburn Whitley, Clarence Whitley, Kenneth Whitley, Terry Whitley, Roger Whitley, and a sister: Helen Bozeman.

Survivors include a brother: Joe Whitley, a sister: Irene Hubbert, and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara was a lifelong resident of Fayette and a proud graduate of Hubbertville High School. After graduation, she obtained her cosmetology license and worked her way to owning her own shop in downtown Fayette. She loved visiting the cemetery and riding to the river. Barbara was born into a large family and was happiest surrounded by her siblings. While she never had children of her own, she has a fierce love for all her nieces and nephews. Throughout her life, she showed value of hard work, and the importance of family. She loved attending church and visiting with her church family at Sand Springs Baptist Church. While we her family, are saddened by her passing, we rejoice that she is in the presence of our Heavenly Father.
