Barbara Warnke Obituary

It is with profound sadness,  that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Hitt Warnkee, 81.

She left her earthly home and made the journey to sit at the feet of Jesus on April 24th, 2020.

Barbara went to McAdory High School and later in life went to work as an Optometrist Assistant,

where she loved working with and being with the staff and customers.

Some of Barbara's joys in life was to be with her family whom she loved unconditionally.

Cooking (everything she cooked was delicious).  Singing and dancing.  She had an amazingly beautiful singing voice.

Barbara was loving and caring to anyone she came in contact with.  She wanted to take care of the people she loved.

She had a vivacious personality and loved to make people smile and laugh.  She could make friends anywhere she went,

and everyone loved her very much.

She was married to Raymon Syx and together they had 5 children.  Later she married Jim Warnkee

Barbara is survived by her children: Pamela Syx, Susan Emley, Richard Syx, Patty Syx, and Rodney Syx.

Brothers and Sisters: Duese Bigbee, Cindy Carter (Jerry), Larry Hitt, Lynn Hitt (Kim), Ricky Hitt (Brenda).

Grandchildren: Shanda Whitten, Nick Syx, Chad Morris, Brandy Veem, Hope Garcia, and April Trievel.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents: Roy and Clister Bell Hitt.

Siblings: Emogene Garret, Lorene Campbell, Jeff Hit, Wayne Hitt, and Roy Jr. Hitt.

Grandchildren: Robby Delander and Jessica Syx.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined by the family.
