Banks Nelson

Mr. Banks Nelson, age 84 of Fayette, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Northwest Medical Center Senior Care in Winfield.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 3-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-3 P.M. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Estes and Lorene Nichols Nelson, wife: Jimmie Nell Nelson, son: Donald Ray Nelson, and great-grandson: Jackson Avery Barnes.

Survivors include his daughter: Glenda Barnes (Ernie Webb), son: Timothy Nelson (Jessica), brothers: Ned Nelson, Doyle Nelson, Robert Nelson (Donrita),  Jerry Nelson (Rhonda), Jackie Nelson (Brenda), sisters: Kate Miller, Sandra Lowery, and Nona Sullivan (Mike), and two grandchildren: Jeremy Barnes, and Alexis Nelson.

Pallbearers will be: Rodney Nelson, Nick Nelson, Anthony Nelson, Tyler Nelson, Jason Nelson, and Ray Hill.
