Mrs. Annie Juanita McDaniel, age 80 of Fayette, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 2-P.M. from Culpepper Funeral Home in Kosciusko, MS. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery in Ethel, MS. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30-2-P.M. at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband: William McDaniel, daughter: Billie Gail Busby Morrow, granddaughter: Brandi Morrow Fortner, brothers: Danny Barnes, Darrell Barnes, Percy Barnes, sisters: Mary Jewel Barnes, Dorothy Barnes, Barbara Barnes and parents: Walter and Virginia Barnes.
Survivors include her daughters: Virginia Blaylock (Lee Sr.) of Grenada, MS, Michelle Trimm of Fayette, and Lisa Forrester (James) of Coila, MS, brothers: James Barnes (Joy) of Raceland, LA, J.W. Barnes of KY, sisters: Ann Sanders (Jerry) of Mathison, MS, Christine McKinnon (Stan) of Murfreesboro, TN, 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Annie Juanita McDaniel was born in Ethel, MS on January 2, 1946, she lost her fight for life on March 17, 2026 due to heart disease at home in Fayette, AL. She was born to Walter and Virgie Barnes in Ethel, MS. She retired from working in the High School Cafeteria after twelve and a half years. She was a teacher assistant for twelve and a half years. She retired from Walmart after working 40 years. Annie enjoyed helping and serving others in her community and family. She enjoyed cooking, collecting cookbooks, spending time with her fur babies, Bruno and Angel and her family.
Honorary pallbearers are: Lee Blaylock Jr., and Matthew Smith.
Pallbearers will be: James Robert Blaylock, Lee Blaylock Sr., Desmond Nalls, Jonathan Mosley, Will Nicholson, and Alex Nicholson.
