Mrs. Annie Laura Williams, age 91 of Kennedy, passed away April 5, 2026 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 10, 2026 at 11-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:30 - 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home..

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 11-A.M. from Sylvester United Methodist Church Cemetery in Newton, MS. The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11 A.M. at Sylvester United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Jimmie Williams, parents: Sam and Annie Mae McDougle, sisters: Velma McDougle, Ida McDougle, and Bernice Parker.

Survivors include her daughter: Patsy Ann Williams, brothers: Ediie McDougle, Herman McDougle, and Earnest McDougle, sisters: Helen King, Annie Ruth Metcalfe, Louise Tingle, and Sammie Abraham, and one grandchild.
