William J Taylor

Mr. William J. Taylor, age 89 of Kennedy, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 1-p.m. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Boone Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents; William Jasper and Addie Gilliam Taylor, sisters; Edith Wise, Lois Taylor, Janie McCartney, Martilla Taylor, and Varilla Davis, and twin brothers; Wayne Waco Taylor, and Wyman Karo Taylor. 

Survivors include nieces; Mary Lois Witvoet, Tammie Keeton Reynolds, Elizabeth Taylor, Rebecca Bean, and Mary McCartney, nephews; William Michael Taylor, and Billy Ray Taylor, Joe McCartney, John McCartney, and Jimmy McCartney, and two very special nieces; Nikki and Maci Woolman, and special caregivers; Geraldine Gabaldon, Elizabeth Taylor and Tikki Woolman. A speical thanks also to Amedysis Home Health.

Pallbearers will be; Charles Bean, Emmett Waggoner, Johnny Norris, Daniel Nason, Mike Reynolds, Johnny Harris, and David Long, Sr.
