Vida Skelton Obituary

Mrs. Vida Skelton, age 88 of Bankston, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Fayette Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at Phillips Memorial Cemetery at 2pm Sunday Febuary 24.

Survivors include her son: Steve Skelton (Sue) of Bankston, a sister: Melva Perry of Guin, one grandson: Chris Skelton (Bridget), two great grandchildren: Caleb and Cade Skelton, sister-in-law: Faye Phillips of Coker, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband: LB Skelton, parents: Walter and Ida Phillips, five brothers: Lloyd, Lando, Manley, Ealon, and Joel Phillips, and two sisters: Clemmie Gilliam and Mae Wilson.

Pallbearers will be: Chris Skelton, Caleb Skelton, Wayne Gilliam, Ken Phillips, Phil Phillips, and Felix Phillips.
