Mr. Timothy McCrary age 59 of Fayette, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 12-noon from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Zion Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
On Tuesday night, December 11, 2018 the Lord calld Timothy McCrary home. Timothy was the oldest of two children born to the late Mr. Porter C. And Angelen McCrary of Reform, Alabama.
Timothy completed his high school education at Pickens Co. High School, Class of 1977. He served in the Navy from 1978 to 1981, then he joined the Navy Reserve for two years. After returning home, he started working for Parker Towing Company, other jobs came later.
During his youth he accepted Christ as his savior and united with the Unity Grove C.M.E. Church in Palmetto, AL. Later he started attending Unity Grove Baptist Church in Fayette, Al.
In 1984 he united in Holy Matrimony with Elvira Stowe. Their union was blessed with two sons: Briam and Byron McCrary. Timothy enoyed spending time with his wife of 34 years and his boys. He loved football.

Of Fayette, AL, brother: Fredrick (Paula) McCrary of Sevens, Maryland, sisters-in-law: April Stowe of Fayette, AL, Karen Alexander of Tuscaloosa, AL, brothers-in-law: Roosevelt (Linda Stowe of Hamilton, AL, Wayne (Portia) Stowe of Fayette, AL, one in a lifetime best friend: Rick Richardson of Reform, AL, uncles: Bobby Lee (Brenda) McCrary and Gerald (Stella) Bonner, both of Reform, AL, Roosevelt Bonner, Jr. Of Birmingham, AL, Benjamine (Helen) Stowe of Chicago, IL, aunts: Leola Heard of Hartford, Connecticut, Burena Griffin of Chicago, IL, Bennie Granger and Mattie Jewel (Sylvester) Hardison, both of Miami, FL, godchildren: Justin and Nicholas Humphrey, both of Fayette, AL, Christina (Jason) Sandar of Tuscaloosa, AL, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
