Rayford Kimbrell

Mr. Rayford Kimbrell, age 64 of Berry, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Fayette Long Term Care.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 2-P.M. from Pea Ridge Community Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state from 1-2 P.M. atr the church.

Survivors include his mother; Esta Mae Nuckols of Berry, one son; Phillip Kimbrell of Berry, two brothers; Lee Kimbrell (Ellen) of GA, and Mike Kimbrell of Berry, six sisters; Glenda Sweat (Lucky) of TN, Melissa Pelfrey (Howard) of Parrish, Anita Kimbrell of Berry, Christy Oswalt (Mike) of Northside, Mary Thacker (Joel) of Berry, and Jaime Nuckols of Berry, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; David Kimbrell, and a sister; Delilah Ann Sanford.

Ray loved fishing and hunting. He was definitely and outdoors person. You could call him and ask if the wanted to go riding the dirt roads and he would drop everything and be waiting on you. He also loved kids. He could find a way to make those kids laugh and they never forgot him. Ray loved pulling pranks and telling jokes and he could come up with off the wall stuff and get tickled at himself. He loved to embarrass you too. If he knew he was embarrassing you he would really get stirred up and start laughing.

Pallbearers will be; Mike Oswalt, Wesley Oswalt, Cody Fondren, Joel Thacker, Colin Smith, Howard Pelfrey, Jesse Thacker, and Hayden Garner.
