Ray Holsonback

Mr. Ray Holsonback, age 80 of Kennedy, passed away Friday, September 6, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11-A.M. from Kennedy Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Kennedy City Cemetery. The body will lie in state Monday from 10:30-11 A.M. at the church. Visitation for Mr. Holsonback will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Nelson Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Jack and Susie Tyner Holsonback.

Survivors include his wife; Lenora Ann Holsonback of Kennedy, daughter; Melinda Montgomery of Kennedy, son; Brian Holsonback of Kennedy, brother; Glen Holsonback, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Holsonback was born and raised in Kennedy, Al. He was married to Lenora Ann Holsonback for 61 years. He retired from Weyerhauser after 39 and a half years.

Pallbearers will be; Mike Holsonback, Michael Holsonback, Jr., Chad Higdon, Joey Carrell, Danny Dollar, and Mickey Watkins.
