Maurice "Long John" Lenard Obituary

Mr. Maurice "Long John" Lenard, age 76 of Fayette, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020 at Generations of Vernon.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 13, 2020 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Phillips Chapel Cemetery in Tuscaloosa County. Bro. Adam Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife: Emogene Lenard of Fayette, and one brother: Joe Lenard of Milan, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents: L.P. and Orpha Lea Barnes Lenard, brothers: Arnold and Wallace Ray Lenard, and sisters: Brenda Brown and Wynell Knight.

Honorary pallbearer will be: Buddy Smith.

Active pallbearers will be: Terry Duncan, Allen Parker and Keith Williams.
