Magdalene Files

Mrs. Magdalene Files, age 89 of Berry, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020 at DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2-P.M. from Berry Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Berry City Cemetery. The body will lie in state Wednesday from 1-2 P.M. at the church. Bro. Rod Ward will officiate. 

She was preceded in death by her husband: James Albert "Pebo" Files, and by a great-grandchild: George Bennett Files.

Survivors include two sons: James Grant Files of Berry, and Tommy Files of Gulf Shores, three grandchildren: Jonathin Taylor Files, Madeline Geneva Files, and Everett Thomas Files, and one great grandchild: Georgia Brynne Files.

Pallbearers will be: Tom Ellard, Lunie Dunn, Jimmy Madison, J.F. Porter, and Pete Norris.
