Lonnie Max Johnson Obituary

Mr. Lonnie Max Johnson, age 81 of Fayette, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 at 12-noon from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 11-12 at the funeral home. Bro. C.J. Townsend will officiate.

He was preceded in death by his parents: L.D. and Etta Johnson, and a sister: Minni Belle Barnes.

Survivors include a son: Gary Johnson, two daughters: Dana Mayo and Amelia Wilson, brother: LA Johnson, sister: Wynell Byars, five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers are all grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will be: Davey Johnson, Greg McCaleb, Darryl McCaleb, Don Beaty, Jeremy Johnson, Will Mayo, and Darrell Mayo.
