Hilda Johnson

Mrs. Hilda Johnson, age 72 of Northport, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 11-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sulphur Springs Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Fred and Evelyn Nichols, brother: Nick Nichols, and sisters: Bernita Nichols, and Floye Farley.

Survivors include her husband: William Ray Johnson of Northport, sons: Jeff Johnson, and Dean Johnson both of Northport, daughters: Tawana Lewis (David) of Northport, Kathy Gordon (Wade) of Fayette, Angela Stimac (Mike) of Fayette, Natalie Vining of Tuscaloosa, Marcia Fleenor (Brian) of Northport, sisters: Wanda Booth (Allen) of Northport, Diann Dozier (Glen) of Berry, Wilda Perkins (Joe) of Northport, Shelia Stripling (Terry) of Jasper, twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. 

Honorary pallbearers are: Charlotte Guin, Denise Moore, Dr. Steven Waguespack, Ann Brinkman, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. Scott Fulgham, Jackie Johnson, Josh Shirley, Oasis Hospice, and Moore's Bridge Baptist Church.

Active pallbearers will be: Karac Cummings, Dylan Guyton, Josh Musgrove,Will Kizzire, Christopher Hydrick, and Cody Hydrick.
